Well, that's also our philosophy here at Marquette
Mountain. Once you learn how to ski or snowboard
you will never forget. It will be something
that you can do the rest of your life. That's
why it is so important that you learn the right
way to ski and snowboard, and that is where
our PSIA certified instructors come into play.Our
committed men and women can assist you to achieve
that goal, whether you are just beginning, or
have multiple years of skiing experience.
Our Lessons Address:

~ getting on/off the chairlifts,
~ new ski technology,
~ proper slope etiquette,
~ and how to have fun!

Mining
Jouranl Ski School
No
one is to old or experienced
This
program is a 6 week program, teaching your skier
or snowboard from beginning to advanced techniques.
It begins January 12th and runs for 6 consecutive
weeks. Program I which is six weeks of
lessons is $142 if the individual needs equipment
or $88 without equipment. Program II which
is 1 lesson and 6 weeks of free skiing is $163
if the individual needs equipment or $101 without
equipment. Our classes will run on Tuesday
and Thursday 1 - 4:00 (adults only) or Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday 6:30 -9:30 and
Sunday 5-8:00. The program works in a
manner of the first hour is the lesson and the
next two hours are free time. This program
is for skiiers 6 and up. This season
we have added the FREESTYLE LESSON option.
Come to the Ticket Office to register!
Must register 48 hours before the start of the
program. You will receive 1 hour lesson and
then 2 hours of free ski time. This free
ski time is under the supervision of the parents,
please do not leave the property!

Ski School
Ages
2 1/2 to 10
This
program is a 3 week program and runs multiple
times through out the season. You chose
the day of the week for the lesson and come
on that day for 3 consecutive weeks, programs
run on Saturday 4-6, Sunday and Wednesday 3-5
or Wednesday and Thursday from 5-7. There
are 3 sessions, one in Decemeber, one in January,
and one in February. If the skiier or
snowboarder needs equipment it is $60 but without
equipment is $40. Come to the Ticket Office
to register! Must register 48 hours before
the start of the program. You will receive
1 hour lesson and then 1 hours of free ski time.
This free ski time is under the supervision
of the parents, please do not leave the property!
