The weather is warm, the days are long, and summer is officially rolling at full speed here in Marquette! We’ve been busy getting everything ready for an unforgettable season, and between our new menus, thrilling events, and outdoor adventures, there is a lot to talk about.

Behind the Scenes:
New Lift Construction Has Begun!

If you’ve been by the mountain lately, you might have noticed some action. We are officially starting work on our brand-new lift! Right now, our crews are clearing trees and prepping the site for construction. While you might not be able to see the progress every single day, there is a ton of work happening behind the scenes. Keep an eye out when you visit—you’ll spot little changes happening all around us as we build towards the future!

Don’t Wait for Winter: Season Passes at Lowest Prices!

Speaking of that brand-new lift… you’re going to want to be on it! Our Season Passes are officially on sale right now at the absolute lowest price of the season. Secure your winter third space today and save big before prices go up.

The Tbar is BACK Open for the Summer!

Your favorite spot to unwind is officially open for the season, and we can’t wait to welcome you back. Weeknight South Trails group rides? Finish your evening with us.

  • Hours: Monday – Thursday from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
  • Catch the Action: Come grab a drink and watch our Volleyball League action happening every single night we’re open!
  • Bring Your Pets: Good news for animal lovers—our patio is 100% pet-friendly! (We just ask that they stay on a leash no longer than 6 feet). 

We’ve rolled out a brand-new Summer Menu packed with refreshing drinks and delicious bites perfect for refueling after a day of adventure. Come grab a seat on the patio and check out what we’ve cooked up for you!

Paddle the Coast: Guided Kayak Tours

There is no better way to experience the Upper Peninsula than from the water. Our guided kayak tours of Marquette’s most iconic shorelines are officially booking!

  • Half-Day Tours (Available Now): Choose between the Presque Isle or Lower Harbor tours. Both offer two completely unique, stunning perspectives of Marquette.
  • Full-Day Tours (Launching Friday, June 26th): Looking for the ultimate U.P. adventure? This brand-new tour takes you from Little Presque Isle all the way down the shoreline back to Presque Isle. It features some of the most scenic views and diverse shorelines you can find anywhere.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 11th, because we are hosting two of our favorite events of the year.
Registration is officially open, so grab your partners and sign up!

The Rocket Endurance
Hill Climb (Year 3!)

Ready to challenge yourself? The Rocket Hill Climb is back, giving athletes the chance to climb and descend the mountain over the course of six hours.

  • How to play: Push yourself solo, or grab your friends and compete as a team of 2 or 4. It’s brutal, it’s beautiful, and it’s an absolute blast.

The Midwest Wife Carrying Championship

The wildest race in the U.P. returns! Teams of two will go head-to-head, racing through a grueling (and hilarious) obstacle course to see who can clock the fastest time.

  • The Ultimate Prize: The winner takes home the carried participant’s weight in beer!

    (Note: You don’t actually have to be married to compete, just ready to run!)
